Sure there’s an election coming up, but let us know over on the right whether you think we’re having a boy or girl. Better hurry, you only have until Tuesday!

Wow! You never cease to amaze!! I have been checking Eliots blog quite a bit, yearning for more. Your blog is still as interesting as ever. Thank you for allowing us the chance to laugh and cry with you once again.
P.S. I voted boy. LOL. I voted before I read how all these comments said boy too. 🙂

WOW. Marybeth said it pretty well. I am excited to share this adventure with you from afar. To laugh and cry with you again. Your writing is amazing and I am excited to read more. My first thought was boy so i am going with boy.

I voted girl!!!! I have been fine-tooth-combing the internet for news of you and stumbled across Ginny’s blog. Matt, I can see why you are such an admirer of her writings. They have universal appeal, yet intimately reveal pieces of her beautiful soul. In my own life, I have experienced quite a bit of fear over the last few years and every day it is a struggle to turn the spirit of fear (not pleasing to the Lord) into a spirit of total dependence on Him. Ginny’s post about the safe myth strikes such a chord with me. Sorry to have such a long comment – I am just addicted to the outputs of both of your heads and have missed you!

I have followed your blog from the beginning. I am a labor and delivery nurse who has been honored to know a little one who was born at our hospital with T18. You are always in my prayers! Best wishes for your life with this new little member of your family. I hope that he or she shares a long and healthy life with you both! Good for you for not finding out if your baby is a boy or a girl. We did that, too, and it was wonderful when my husband got to say, “I think it’s a girl… it’s a GIRL!”

    Hugs,

I just love that you guys are back to blogging. I have missed you so much. I don’t even have a guess here to be honest. I am just praying that this little treasure who will be born some time today is healthy, happy and blesses your socks off!!! I know that your hearts are full for Eliot and I am sure he won’t mind sharing the love this brings to your hearts. I look forward to hearing all about this new baby and the joy that comes. May the delivery room be full of peace and joy as you meet Eliots brother or sister. I love you guys.
