By way of update…we received word this morning that our dossier was submitted, and this is good news. We did not, however, receive a quick travel date for an appointment- which we had been told to prepare for and were hoping for.
There is still some confusion, but the way we understand it today is that our adoption is in process through the SDA & will be finished through such- even though this agency will cease new adoptions starting in July. We have been told to expect to travel in around 30 days (or before)…so this is what we are hoping for.
Thank you so much for the prayers and support. I cannot convey the encouragment that it has been to us. We ask for continued prayers for:
1.) A quick appointment to travel to Ukraine despite the pending closing of the SDA.
2.) For Lena and that she would not be transferred to the institution while this lingers.
We are hopeful in the one who has led us here.
